Cortisol Balance Fixes Your - Wired but Tired

Cortisol is a multi-purpose hormone made in the adrenal glands. When it's excessively elevated, it can cause some unwanted symptoms.

One of the most common sensations that people with high cortisol levels report is a sensation of being “tired but wired”.  You feel exhausted, but your nervous system is revved up.  This is most often seen in the evening, after a particularly stressful day or exceptionally hard training effort.

Cortisol levels normally come down in the evening hours and are at their lowest through the night. When they’re too high, a person will have trouble sleeping through the night, and most commonly they’ll wake up in the early morning hours (3-4am) completely awake and unable to fall back asleep.

Cortisol Balance is the answer to unbalanced cortisol levels. It contains clinically effective natural ingredients that support healthy cortisol levels in a normal physiologic range.

Best Uses for Cortisol Balance:

  • Waking at 3-4am for no reason
  • "Tired but wired" sensation
  • Fatigue and burnout
  • Inability to fall asleep
  • Poor exercise recovery - inability to calm down
  • Stress and anxious feelings
  • Supports healthy circadian cortisol cycles and stress response

Here’s How it Works:

Cortisol Balance is made to balance cortisol levels - especially when they’re temporarily elevated from a stressor, whether it’s mental/emotional or physical.  It works quickly, so your system can calm down and you can rest and recover.

Ashwagandha is a native herb to India. It’s a well researched botanical that has been shown to directly lower cortisol levels. It also has a beneficial effect of limiting the effects of stress on dopamine receptors in the brain. Additionally, users report feeling more relaxed after taking it.

Magnolia bark has anxiety decreasing effects on the brain, and it can also directly lower evening cortisol levels.

Holy basil is another native Indian herb and has been used for centuries as an anti-stress and adaptogenic herb in Ayurvedic medicine. It helps to relax the body and mind by balancing cortisol levels; it has similar actions to ashwagandha.

Phosphatidylserine is a compound found in cellular membranes, with the purpose of promoting healthy cellular communication. Interestingly,  Interestingly, phosphatidylserine works to balance the overall hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) system - meaning that it can limit the production of cortisol in stressful situations. It’s also a great remedy for poor sleep.

L-Theanine is an amino acid found primarily in tea. It’s a popular relaxing and anti-anxiety remedy and can boost levels of serotonin and GABA. It’s thought that the presence of this amino acid in tea is why it’s such a relaxing beverage!

5-HTP is a natural chemical precursor to tryptophan, a relaxing amino acid. 5-HTP can greatly help with mood, feelings of unease, and problems sleeping. It’s non-drowsy so it can be used during the day without making you sleepy.

Magnesium, Vitamin D3, B6 (Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate, Pyridoxine HCl), B12 (Methylcobalamin) and folinic acid are included in this formula because of their role in the HPA (hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal) axis. B vitamins are heavily used by the adrenal glands; vitamin D supports normal cortisol levels, and magnesium supports balanced muscle and nerve function.

Cortisol Balance contains everything your body needs to support healthy adrenal gland function (where cortisol is produced), and these ingredients can balance elevated cortisol levels that result from stress on the body, so you can wind down and recover/sleep properly.

Hey Jonas – I do use this. Not all the time, but definitely after a hard effort when my system feels like it’s in overdrive so to speak. I take 2 at bedtime to help me wind down. Others take this supplement daily for high training or ongoing stress as well. Hope this helps!

Hey 👋 Jason

Interesting supplements to decrease cortisol levels in the body.

Did you use it yourself?
What would be a good practise in supplement frequency?

Kind regards

Jonas
